After 3 years, a new world record was set with the installation of LoRaWAN trackers on an Estrela de Sesimbra, fishing boat and its buoys off the coast of Sesimbra, Portugal, a collaboration led by SOLVIT – Innovation on Telecommunications together whit ISEL – Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa, AIR Centre – Atlantic International Research Centre, Docapesca – Portos e Lotas, S.A., Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), UAVision and TERINOV – Science and Technology Park. The tracker was able to establish contact with a gateway in the Canary Islands. Three messages were received by the ‘cablpa-pitilleros‘ gateway connected to The Things Stack Community Edition.
